Hello!
I’m Liz Hunter, and I’ve been writing creative copy for 20 years. I’ve specialised in FinTech for the past 5 years and love the challenge of making tech copy sound human, engaging and a little bit playful.
I’m based in London but work remotely with clients all over the world. My ideal working set-up is hybrid, as I do love meeting the people I work with, getting coffee and shooting the breeze.
I am also a proud mum to a wonderful, turbo-charged, one-year-old boy.
Do I really know what I’m doing?
Hmmmm. Fair question. I’m not a financial expert by any means, but I am really good at boiling down the complex into the digestible.
Whether it’s B2C or B2B, I can get to grips quickly with a brand’s values and identity, and pinpoint what’s needed fast. Coming up with catchy brand and product copy is my idea of a fun day at work.
What I love about FinTech is how it improves our lives and breaks down financial borders for everyday people, everywhere. I believe in the positive impact it has on our health, wealth and growth as a society.
I’ve always had a love for words, reading and writing. I have an English BA from Selwyn College, Cambridge, and an MA in Creative Writing from Birkbeck University, London. So do I know what I’m doing? You bet!
