Stop Smart Glasses
WE DON'T CONSENT TO THIS

Smart glasses pose an immediate threat to the safety of women, children, and vulnerable communities — and their mass-market sale needs to be stopped now.

Stop Smart Glasses is a grassroots campaign I launched in August 2026, calling for a ban on the mass-market promotion and sale of smart glasses in the UK.

It was built to drive awareness of a pre-existing UK government petition — created by campaigner Guy Holder — calling for that ban.

Stop Smart Glasses is the first UK + Ireland-wide database of Ray-Ban Meta stockists, giving people across both nations a direct way to write to their local optician and ask them to stop selling the glasses.

The launch post gained over 1,000 likes, with immediate interest from global press including The Irish Times, Virgin Media Ireland, CyberNews, TechRadar, Mi3 Australia and Fox's Chicago Live.

Guy and I are now working together — fielding press requests and keeping the pressure up until the Government responds and takes the urgent action this needs.

The campaign gives people the tools to act.
